Welcome to Resumika (resumika.ai). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Resumika website, applications and services (the "Service"). Resumika is a product built and operated by Vocxa(vocxa.com). In these Terms, "Resumika", "we", "us" and "our" refer to Vocxa and the Resumika service it operates. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or clicking to accept these Terms when this option is made available to you, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Accounts

You sign in using your email address via a one-time code or magic link. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure. The email associated with your account is also used as the default contact email on the resumes you create. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Resumika offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are billed through our payment provider. Features, limits and prices for each plan are described at checkout and may change over time. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

  • Free accounts may include watermarks on exports and usage limits.
  • Paid plans unlock premium templates, unlimited exports and the AI suite per your plan.
  • You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period.

4. Refund Policy — No Refunds

All subscription payments are final and non-refundable. Before subscribing to any paid plan, you have full access to preview all templates, features, and details available in our free tier. This allows you to make an informed decision before committing to a paid subscription.

Once a subscription payment is processed, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Change of mind or dissatisfaction with the Service
  • Failure to use the Service during the subscription period
  • Partial use of the subscription period
  • Duplicate purchases

If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period, but no partial or prorated refunds will be provided.

5. Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you add to your resumes. You grant Resumika a limited licence to store, process and display that content solely to provide the Service (including generating documents and AI suggestions).

6. CV Sharing & Job Opportunities

By using the Service with the "Share my CV for job opportunities" option enabled (which is on by default), you authorize Resumika to:

  • Share your CV and profile information with relevant employers and recruiters who may have job opportunities matching your skills and experience.
  • Include your CV in our CV Bank, which employers and recruitment agencies can search to find suitable candidates.
  • Use your CV data to match you with relevant job openings and notify you of potential opportunities.

You can opt out of CV sharing at any time by disabling the "Share my CV for job opportunities" option in your Account Settings. When disabled, your CV will not be shared with third parties or included in the CV Bank. Note that any CVs already shared before you opt out may remain with the companies they were shared with.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, reverse engineer it, or use it for unlawful purposes or to submit false information in job applications.

8. AI Features

AI-generated suggestions are provided to assist you. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all content before using it in applications. We do not guarantee employment outcomes.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from account settings.

10. Disclaimers & Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resumika is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. GDPR Compliance (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the following additional terms apply to you:

  • Legal Basis: We process your personal data based on: (a) your consent when you create an account and accept these Terms; (b) the necessity to perform our contract with you to provide the Service; and (c) our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service.
  • Data Subject Rights: You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and request portability of your personal data. You may exercise these rights by contacting us at [email protected] or through your account settings.
  • Data Transfers: Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers in accordance with GDPR requirements.
  • Complaints: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority if you believe we have violated your privacy rights.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For users in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified through the Service or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
